SIGRA, in partnership with the Center for Opportunities and Rural Development (CORD-Ghana), convened a Climate Finance Forum on 12 March 2026 at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
The forum brought together CSOs, academics, researchers, SMEs, farmer groups, banks and government institutions to build knowledge and create networks for improved access to climate funding in northern Ghana.
Discussions centred on equipping participants with current climate funding information and sharing practice to strengthen CSO access to sustainable climate finance for gender-responsive adaptation. Participants explored pathways to unlock investment, strengthen resilience and support communities in driving Ghana’s adaptation agenda.
