SIGRA was invited to the launch of Ghana’s National Adaptation Plan, a significant milestone towards evidence-based and inclusive climate adaptation in the country.
The project congratulated the Environmental Protection Agency for its work on the Plan, and SYND for the accompanying National Youth Climate Adaptation Strategy.
SIGRA is partnering the EPA on implementation of the NAP and supporting partner districts to develop climate risk and vulnerability assessments and adaptation plans, with the aim of driving locally led adaptation that responds to those most affected by climate change.
