Women of the Rising Tide

Climate change is not experienced equally. In the communities where SIGRA works, it is women, girls and marginalised young people who most often absorb its costs — walking further for water, absorbing failed harvests, and carrying the consequences of decisions they had little part in making.

Women of the Rising Tide follows those lived experiences in communities severely affected by climate change, and the ways women are organising in response.
