As part of the Green Classrooms to Green Farms project, a team from FIDEP Foundation, in collaboration with SIGRA, held community entry and consultative engagements with stakeholders in Nanumba South District.

The team met the District Assembly and the Ghana Education Service to formally introduce the project and discuss the selection of a beneficiary school for the school gardening initiative.

The project links climate adaptation to practical learning, using school gardens to build knowledge of climate-smart agriculture among students and their wider communities.
