Annual Budget Consultations with women-led CSOs, focused on gender budgeting and climate adaptation at the national level, opened in Accra for three days of discussion.
Convened with ABANTU for Development under the Kasa Initiative Gender and Climate Platform, the consultations brought together organisations working on gender equality, women’s empowerment and climate adaptation to identify priorities for government intervention and financing.
The sessions form part of SIGRA’s work to strengthen the capacity of women-led and climate-focused CSOs to participate in national budget processes and influence policy on climate adaptation and gender equality.
