SIGRA Climate Adaptation Projects

Akatsi North District is facing serious climate stress. Prolonged dry seasons, erratic rainfall, and droughts have reduced water availability and hurt agricultural productivity. Many communities struggle to access safe water, and smallholder farmers are hit hard by changing weather. Women, children, and low-income households are most affected, with women shouldering the burden of water and food provision. To address these challenges, SIGRA is supporting two key climate adaptation projects in the district as part of the first of three years of grants.
