SIGRA, Kasa Initiative Ghana, and ABANTU for Development have urged the Ministry of Finance to raise climate allocations from 0.22% to at least 2% of the national budget. The submission highlights the urgent need to ring-fence funds for women’s adaptation programmes and adopt a Gender-Responsive Climate Budgeting Framework to make Ghana’s budgets more inclusive and climate-resilient.
